"Pretty easy site to navigate"
I found bbyo.org easy to use overall. I’m sure I was able to find what I needed without clicking around too much, which was nice. A few pages felt a little crowded on my phone, but not enough to really bother me. Overall, it seemed smooth and helpful

"Helped Me Feel More Connected"
I found a real connection to my Jewish identity here. It felt natural. It meant a lot to me.

"Good summer program, if you ask me"
It was a solid summer program overall. I went in expecting the usual overly polished brochure version of things, but it actually ended up being a good experience. The schedule made sense, the staff seemed to know what they were doing, and everything ran a little too smoothly… almost like they had secretly figured out how to keep everyone engaged without us noticing. Not saying there’s a grand scheme here, but if there was, I’d say it worked.

"Fun and meaningful for Jewish teens"
My daughter really enjoyed it — it feels genuinely Jewish while still being fun and easy for teens to connect with

"Actually feels like a real community"
BBYO has been a really solid way for me to meet people I genuinely click with. Not every event is perfectly organized, but the community vibe makes up for it. It feels welcoming, easy to be part of, and like the kind of place where you can actually build real friendships.

"Feels like it adds up way too fast"
BBYO seems like a good thing overall, and I don’t have anything really bad to say about the people or the idea of it. But the costs just kind of hit you after a while. Every event or trip seems to come with another fee, and it starts feeling like a lot for what you’re actually getting. I just had this strong feeling that it wasn’t really worth it, even if I wanted it to be. It’s hard to keep saying yes to stuff when everything costs extra.

"Helpful and reassuring with accessibility accommodations"
I reached out about needing some accessibility accommodations and wasn’t sure what to expect, but they got back to me quickly. They were helpful and made me feel reassured that my requests were being taken seriously, which I really appreciated.

"Convention was honestly such a good time"
I went to BBYO convention and had a really fun experience. As a Jewish teen, it felt cool being in a space where I didn’t have to explain that part of myself at all, and I could just show up and be part of it. The site was easy to use for schedules and info, but I did have to click around a little to find a few things.
The convention itself was definitely the highlight. I met a bunch of new people, the sessions were way better than I expected, and everything felt organized without being super strict or awkward. I left feeling really glad I went, and I’d definitely go again.

"Scholarship help seriously saved the day"
My son really wanted to join BBYO, but the cost had me spiraling a little, not gonna lie. I filled out the scholarship form on bbyo.org expecting some giant ordeal, but it was actually simple. Someone emailed us back quickly, and we ended up getting enough help to make camp possible. Huge relief. No weird runaround, no endless hoops, just actual help when we needed it

"Fun trip, but uh, a bit disorganized"
I had a good time overall and definitely enjoyed the trip, but uh, some of the travel plans felt a little messy at times. It wasn’t a huge deal, just made things feel less smooth than they could’ve been.

"Easy to Relax Knowing He Was in Good Hands"
My son went to a bbyo event, it was such a relief as a parent. The check-in process was straightforward, staff were visible and available, and they kept parents in the loop throughout the night. He came home happy and had a great time, and I wasn’t sitting around worrying the whole evening. That peace of mind made a big difference.

"Ended up making actual friends here"
I was nervous when I first joined, but somehow I left with a group chat and people I actually hang out with now... didn’t really expect that, but I’m really glad it happened.

"So many fun programs to choose from"
There were so many different programs available that my teen always had something new to try and never seemed bored. It was such a relief to see them staying interested and engaged. As a parent, that meant a lot to me.

"Registration was quick and simple, which was..."
Registration was quick and simple, which was a nice surprise. It’s not exactly a groundbreaking process, but at least they didn’t make it harder than it needed to be.

"It took a few days to hear..."
It took a few days to hear back from staff, and my advisor didn’t seem totally sure what to do. A few people were nice, which I appreciated, but actually getting help felt way harder than it needed to be...

"Took me some time to feel comfortable"
When I first heard about BBYO, I really liked the idea and thought it could be a great experience. After a few weeks of looking into it and asking questions, though, I still didn’t feel totally clear on things like communication and supervision. As a parent, that stuff matters a lot to me. Maybe it works really well for other families, but for me, I needed more details upfront before I could feel fully comfortable trusting it

"Good first impression, service could be quicker"
My first impression of BBYO was positive, it was easy to find programs, and they had some really nice volunteer opportunities listed. That definitely stood out right away. The only downside was that when I had a few questions, the service was a bit slow to respond. They did get back to me eventually, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just not as smooth as it could’ve been.

"Event felt unorganized"
So... I went to a BBYO event and it felt all over the place. The schedule kept changing, and half the time it seemed like nobody really knew where we were supposed to go next. Even check-in took way longer than I expected, which kind of set the tone from the start.
Some of the staff were friendly, so I don’t want to make it sound like everything was terrible, but overall it felt rushed and confusing. For the price and all the hype around it, I really thought it would be a lot better planned.

"Helped My Teen Come Out of Their Shell"
BBYO has been really great for my teen. I’ve noticed they’re a lot more confident, especially when it comes to speaking up in a group or helping organize things. They’ve gotten to plan events, work with other teens, and take on little responsibilities that actually mean something. Even small stuff, like seeing them make a checklist before a meeting, has been cool to watch. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience for them.

"I liked that the place feels..."
I liked that the place feels inclusive overall, and you can tell they’re trying to create a good vibe. But honestly... it didn’t always feel as welcoming as I expected? Some moments were great, others felt a bit off — so I left with mixed feelings.
